How it works
Each year, spending comes from the Age Pension first, then your savings.
Interest is taxed at the rate you set (30% to start).
If some savings are in super: it can't be touched before 60.
At retirement, up to the transfer balance cap goes into a tax-free pension, which must pay the legal minimum each year. The rest stays taxed at 15%.
Division 296 tax on super over $3m and $10m.
Age Pension from
: assets and income tests, the lower one. Couples are the same age.
Interest and inflation start at the latest RBA figures. Change either.
Returns are steady. Real markets aren't.
